Yes, It is my hand-dyed wools that I have appliqued onto cotton fabric. I did it a block at a time then sewed it together using another cotton fabric to create a window frame look between the blocks. I hired the actual quilting part out. Cathy has a long-arm quilting machine and she will stitch around the motifs and then do some decorative stitching in the negative space as well.
This is lovely, Karen. I can't quite see - is this your dyed fabric sewn on a background?
