About Me

I am a hooked rug artist, mostly.  I design, dye, teach, eat and breath hooked rugs and have been doing so for over 30 years.  Recently I have added wool applique to my list of doings.  I found many quilters seeking hand-dyed woolens and patterns and I decided to dive in, to not only help them out but to give me another outlet for my passion with fiber.  I think it must be in my blood.  My grandmother, born and raised in Brooklyn, was a seamstress in the clothing district.  I grew up watching her sew, knit, crochet etc. I do what I love and love what I do.
