Jumping into the New Year

After a really,really busy December I just keep going with a fast start to the New Year.  This Friday and Saturday is the annual Quilting and Fiber Arts Marketplace in Sanford.  I hope to see you there.

Also, a few things I've been up to...

I managed to design and assemble a new purse pattern.  I call it Country Shoulder Bag.  I used some oatmeal and taupy wools for the purse body, did the appliques in some muted reds,blues and greens, and found a wonderful linen remnant for the lining.  Here it is...

Patterns and woolens will be available at the show. 

At the show I will also have info on rug hooking classes for the New Year.  I have a couple of beginning classes set up for February.
